Press conferences “Pro-active against Violence against Women” project

Today, November 25, marks the International Day of Activism against Gender-Based Violence. Each year, Animus Association Foundation takes part in the worldwide “16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence” campaign.

In this regard, in 2019, Animus Association Foundation organized two press conferences on two major projects related to violence against women and children:

• “BODROZI - response to cases of domestic violence against children at national level”, co-funded by the Rights, Equality and Citizenship programme of the European Commission, whose main objective is to optimize the response of the child protection authorities in Bulgaria in cases of domestic violence involving children, whether as victims or as witnesses.
• “Active against Violence Against Women”, implemented with financial support from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway under the EEA Financial Mechanism in partnership with the Society and Security Foundation, whose main purpose is to activate the civil society against violence against women.
