Animus Association Foundation has been working on the topic of domestic and gender-based violence for over 25 years. This webpage will provide information on the topic, namely: who to contact if you are a victim of violence; what should you do if you witness violence, emergency phones number and other useful information.
National Hotline for Survivors of Violence

The National Hotline is directed towards women, men, children, and their relatives who are victims of witnesses of violence, trafficking in human beings, labour exploitation or another type of violence. The Hotline provides help and support to the callers on specific incidents of violence or refers them to existing social services around the country.
Every Wednesday between 5.30pm and 9pm the Hotline provides free legal aid where callers can receive detailed information on specific procedures related to requests for immediate protection orders and/ or other legal matters.
The National Hotline operates a correspondence programme. By sending an email to 029817686@animusassociation.org survivors can share information about their current situation. They can receive support, work on a personal safety plan, or get information according to the specific case.
The National Hotline for Support and Referral of Survivors of Violence is 24-hour service operated by Animus Association Foundation, under contract for granting of gratuitous financial assistance concluded with the Ministry of Justice.
